Owner & Stylist
I am a seasoned hairstylist specializing in color, inspired haircuts and styles for all. My mission is for every person who leaves my chair to feel like the best and most beautiful version of themself. I have always had a fierce passion for the beauty industry. I pride myself on forming strong relationships with my clients and providing them a style, cut and color that is as unique as they are.
In 2010 I embarked on my lifelong dream, and opened up The Parlour Salon & Spa in Victoria. I feel passionate about being impactful and philanthropic in the community that I serve, and am proud of what The Parlour has achieved in both regards.
We are beyond grateful to serve our clients and feel honored that so many feel at home with our little salon family! Thank you for supporting our salon throughout the years; the heart and laughter you fill this salon with will never go unnoticed or unappreciated!
I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2012, but my love for hair started long before that. I love the atmosphere of the salon, the conversations that build connections with everyone that sits in my chair, the continuing education to always stay current in the ever changing trends, and maintaining the drive and passion for my career. I also love the process that goes with any form of service I perform. Change is my favorite part of this career, and I am always excited to help you achieve the perfect style!
*Currently on maternity leave.

My name is Kendal Tesch and I'm new to the beauty industry. I graduated from Aveda in December of 2023! I've worked at The Parlour since high school as a receptionist and am now on the floor as a stylist; I love the staff and atmosphere of the salon. The services I love most are lived in color, and a big bouncy blowout! I would love to have you in my chair as I'm learning the ins and outs of the industry! True beauty is confidence!
Maddie has been in the Beauty Industry since 2015. Beginning in High School she worked at The Parlour Salon and Spa as a receptionist and continued through her schooling at Empire Beauty School. Maddies favorite services are Mens Haircuts, and Hair Coloring services. Maddie has had a passion for hair since a young age, and is very excited to share it with you!
I began my career in 1990 at Rita Amborns. I became an in salon educator for new stylists and forwarded my own education by traveling to trade shows to learn new techniques, and I continue to do so. As a product educator I traveled to other salons to update fellow stylists on new and upcoming products and techniques. I adore what I do, and love a good challenge behind the chair. Especially, hair coloring and style changes. 30 years experience listening to what the client desires for their hair has kept me behind the chair. I will always welcome new clients and all their hair needs.
My name is Jessica Mevissen and I am a Certified Medical Nail Technician (CMNT). This year, I will be completing the Certified Master Pedicurist (CMP) Program. This additional training will help me offer more advanced foot care, skills, and knowledge.
I have completed multiple CND training courses, certification in the IBX Nail Strengthening and Repair Treatment System and studied foot reflexology.
As much as I like doing manicures, pedicures are my passion. I love a challenge and am happy to meet people who may struggle with foot concerns stemming from diabetes, ingrown toenails health issues, corns, callouses, thick nails, etc. Both Alex and I have medical backgrounds, and we take disinfection and sanitation very seriously. We use EPA approved, hospital grade disinfectant after EVERY service to guarantee a clean and healthy nail environment.
Some services I offer include leg and foot massage, simple nail trims, UV gel and regular polish manicures, and regular polish pedicures. I do not do extensions or any acrylic services.
If you have questions about the services I provide, don't hesitate to call the salon. I look forward to meeting you!
